Dr. Edem Bart Williams

Dr. Bart Williams has acquired deep knowledge and experience in the business of banking and finance having conducted market research and product development, financial management & accounting system design and implementation, product costing & pricing, Treasury & Funds management, business planning etc. He has served as consultant to several funders and networks like GTZ-Rural Finance Project, GHAMFIN, African Development-Foundation (ADF) and Africa Project Development Facility (APDF) now PEP-Africa.

He has also held various management positions including: GM, Finance & Administration, Head of Consumer Banking as well as senior MIS and Credit   Analyst at Premier Capital Mining and Unibank Ghana respectively. Before ESA Pension Trust, Edem was an executive Director at Accent Financial Services.

In the academic field, Edem is currently an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He has also previously lectured in Banking, Finance and Marketing related courses at Regent University, Data Link University and the Business School of the African University College of Communication (AUCC). He is an author of several publications including Initial objectives behind US and Swedish political parties, e-politics and political parties’ website communications.

Edem holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa Business Administration, an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from Lulea University of Technology, Sweden as well as a BSc in Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance from the Central University College.

Edem is a member of the International Research Association in USA having qualified as a Licensed International Financial Analyst. He also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Management from the IPMA, UK and a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants.
